Job profile:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure System Engineer who will join our team to support and improve our projects’ infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of the network and diagnostic tools
- Systems Interconnection Model (OSI). Purpose and principle of operation of the DNS, HTTP, TCP, IP protocols
- Knowledge of asymmetric cryptography process. General principles of the SSL protocol
- Experience with Linux OS maintenance. Updating, diagnostics, monitoring. Debian-like distributions
- Interaction in Mesh networks. Firewall configuration. OpenVPN
- Experience with relational databases. Administration, monitoring, backup. PostgreSQL
- Experience in administering Nginx, Haproxy. Balancing configuration
- Experience with setting up and managing systems for collecting, storing and monitoring metrics and logs (Zabbix, Grafana, Graylog, Influxdb)
- Understanding of differentiation of access rights in Linux OS. Setting up groups
- Experience with scripting automation. Python / ruby / bash. Git
- Experience in CM (chef, salt, puppet)
As advantage:
- KVM, XEN virtualization
- Clustered file systems (GlusterFS, CEPH)
- Jira operating experience
