Role purpose
Quality Assurance: Within the EAME region, provide Quality expertise to effectively and sustainably support Seeds operations and the Quality Champion network.
Quality Crop Coordinator: Coordinate and supervise the activity of the Syngenta and 3rd party Crop labs in EAME. Follow the activity and the Quality results for regular exchanges with supply chain stakeholders. Represent Product Quality Control in the Supply Chain Operations Team (SCOT) Meetings
Accountabilities
Quality Assurance
- Support P&S in the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) focused on continuous quality improvement through the regional Quality Champions’ network and stakeholders.
- Provide quality management trainings, share best practices and ensure effective communication of any quality topics for internal customers.
- Lead or contribute in Non-Conformities coordination and investigations (RCA, CAPA) when needed.
- Ensure all processes are duly documented and that documents are up to date and compliant with QMS.
- Prepare and facilitate Regional Management Reviews (effectiveness, adequacy and performance with reference to QMS)
- Ensure that Benchmark process is executed, analysed and that outcomes are translated in concrete actions (QIP, SPS…)
- Link with Risk Management and Management of Change processes.
- Be the primary point of contact for Global Quality Team to monitor and support the EAME implementation of the Quality processes portfolio
Quality Crop Coordinator
- Represent, as primary single point of contact for all Regional Crop Quality control activities in the Supply Chain team, ensure communication both ways Set up a system of Quality Support & Assistance to the Regional Crop Supply Chain: critical results management (pro-activity, early warnings system, results interpretation and lot use decision)
- Organize unplanned samples flow.
- Collaborate in yearly Inspection Plan review.
- Review the contract situation regarding product quality agreements with 3rd parties.
Knowledge, experience & capabilities
Critical knowledge
- Master’s degree in agronomy and/or in Quality Management
- Auditing knowledge
- Understanding of general Quality management systems and challenges.
- Understanding of seeds or agricultural supply chain in processes would be an advantage
- Fluent speaking, & excellent writing/reporting in English

Critical experience
- Experience in seed, agricultural or related business operations
- Experiences in Quality Assurance in Seeds production, or for consumer product manufacturers
- Demonstrate experiences working across functional boundaries while driving quality improvements
- Reliance, SAP
- Quality Management Systems
- Project Management
