A newly opening English play club for kids aged 3-5 years is looking for a experienced and enthusiastic Native English teacher (UK, US, Canada etc.) to teach pre-schoolers offline in small groups.
We are looking for the best candidate who can use contemporary programmes for teaching young children in a play-based or case-to-case way, use elements of a simple theatrical approach or based on daily activities and special festive dates like New Year or Christmas to navigate little ones through the new language .
We plan to organise classes, 1.5 or 2 hours each which consist of 30 min “lesson” and 15 -30 min free activity with a teacher as a supervisor, so little kids could handle it, change of activity or even a short walk on a blocks’ playground in-between the classes. Each group will attend their classes 2-3 times a week.
We are currently looking a teacher who can work 2-3 times a week in the evenings, from 17.00 to 19.00. In a prospective there are flexible options of working time to discuss.
Weekends if agreed.
Responsibilities:
- teach children English through educational games (play-based learning);
- take care of kids during breaks , control them with your assistant’s help;
-lead educational process so children could partly follow British or US curriculum of English for their age group at the end of each year.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker (educated in the UK, US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, SA etc.)
- experience in teaching kids aged 3 -5 years old in groups;
- love children, know how to communicate with them effectively;
- good animation skills, positive, active, cheerful personality;
- be polite with kid's parents, be punctual about work time;
- confirmed teachers’ or equivalent degree;
-Methodist’s experience would be great
-references;
-have medical check-up
