Kernel Automation Tester for CloudLinuxOS project (Remote)

In our company CloudLinux, which is the leader in the US in the development of the operating system for web hosting on a Linux-based, with a large number of customers and clusters worldwide, due to the active development of the project we are looking for talented Kernel Tester to join our talented Kernel Developers Team. You will be responsible for building and testing kernels.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of C & shell scripting, Python and Git
  • Good overall understanding of Unix-like OS
  • Knowledge of Russian or English language

Will be a plus:

  • Experience in automating testing of backend software
  • RPM build process (specs, rpm utils, etc.)
  • CLI and test automation tools
  • Jenkins knowledge
  • Perl

Personal skills:

  • Good ability to learn fast, proactivity
  • Ability to focus on details
  • Good analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Desire to work in a fast paced growing deadline driven startup-up environment
  • Strong self-motivation, self-disciplined, goal-driven
  • Teamwork orientation
