Responsibilities:

  • Lead the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial and tax regulations
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, preparation of financial statements and tax returns
  • Lead and coordinate external and internal audits, addressing any issues that arise
  • Participate actively in the implementation and optimization of the new accounting system
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Minimum of five years of practical experience in accounting, preferably within investment or wealth management companies or family offices
  • Experience in leading and managing an accounting team
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with Odoo, 1C or other ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity
