For 20 years UGT has been leading system integrator and solutions provider in the Georgian IT market. UGT primarily concentrates on providing services to corporate clients and the government sector. UGT’s core business is the implementation, deployment, and support of solutions that are based on information and communication technology products and services.

Description:

The LS Retail Application Consultant will participate in every aspect of the implementation from analyzing the customer’s business requirements to configuring the LS Retail application to meet the customer’s needs. The Application Consultant communicates with the customer’s organization on many levels to obtain the necessary understanding of the business processes.
The analysis of the business processes may lead to changing these processes. The Application Consultant works with the customer’s Key Users to ensure full understanding of the implications to the current business processes.
The analysis of the business processes may also lead to modifying the LS Retail standard application. In this case the Application Consultant will communicate with the Development Consultant to ensure implementation of the necessary modifications to the LS Retail application.
Additionally, the Application Consultant can expect to be tasked with conducting acceptance testing and training customer resources to successfully use and maintain the LS Retail application.

Experiences in modeling of business processes;

In depth knowledge of specific functionality like POS module;
Solid understanding of application technology stack;
General knowledge of related Microsoft® technologies (SQL Server, Exchange Server, .NET, SharePoint Portal Server);
System and user acceptance testing skills;

Typical Activities:

Diagnostic:

Prepare and conduct business process analysis;
Setup application for gap/fit analysis;
Conduct gap/fit analysis;
Document and present results of diagnostic phase;
Support license definition and service estimations for functional tasks;

Analysis:

Conduct Key User training;
Prepare and conduct business process analysis;
Setup application for gap/fit analysis;
Conduct gap/fit analysis;
Document and present results of analysis phase;

Design:

Create development design specifications;
Create design documents for customer understanding and acceptance;
Present documentation and application design to customer;

Deployment:

Conduct Key User training;
Create system and user acceptance test plan;
Configure live environment;
Conduct system and user acceptance test together with the customer to ensure functionality, configuration and data are as expected;
Support End User training;

Operation:

Go-live support;
Clear pending issues;
Finalize documentation.
