Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Consultant

Description:

The Development Consultant is responsible for the design and development of modifications to the standard Microsoft Dynamics NAV application. They may also be tasked with developing and executing data migration processes and developing integrations to legacy systems.
By communicating with the Application Consultant, the Development Consultant obtains an understanding of the business requirements and the modifications and integrations necessary to support the requirements.
The Development Consultant may also be tasked with creating detailed documentation of the customizations and integrations.

Functional/Technical Skills:

Strong Experiences in a development role for Microsoft Dynamics NAV;
Knowledge about technical aspects of Microsoft Dynamics NAV;
Business process understanding;
Integration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV to other applications;
Understands and follows development best practices and ensures that modifications are documented;
Strong experience with C#;
Strong experience with SQL Stored Procedures / T-SQL;
Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Reporting Services;
Good knowledge of technical English;
Good knowledge of Russian language.

Typical Activities:

Collaborating with the consultants in writing the specifications;
Review the design documentation and related estimations;
Customization of the product to meet the needs of the customer based on the specifications from the Application Consultant;
Integration of the solution with the customer’s legacy databases and systems;
Document custom developed functionality in accordance to documentation standards and best practices;
Implement add-ons and code from third parties;
Initial test of the developed functionality;
Data migration development and testing;
Support integrated testing;
In case of upcoming customization requests during the deployment phase, perform the design and development tasks in accordance to the defined change request process;
Clear pending issues;
Finalize documentation;
Evaluate necessary upgrade customizations for new versions of Microsoft Dynamics and, relevant ISV and add-on solutions.
