The Technical Account - Development Manager is responsible for growing, supporting the existing, and building out new customer base through execution of go-to-market strategy within an assigned region and partner domain. Responsibilities include developing strategic goals and driving partner success against those goals, representing Virtocommerce to partners and leading a joint business development planning process that develop mutual performance objectives, targets, and critical milestones. The ideal candidate should demonstrate both sales and technical backgrounds that enable engagement at the CXO level to successfully maintain relationships, advise best practices on Virtocommerce cloud solutions and grow Virtocommerce usage across a defined set of customers. The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to maintain active account management engagements as well as to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Things you will be doing:

  • Identify, Activate, Grow, and Support partners in the sales and implementation of solutions in e-commerce space using Virtocommerce’s products and services
  • Build the right relationships across all levels of the partner organisation to create maximum value
  • Increase partner driven sales by establishing alignment between Virto Commerce team and the partner organisation
  • Work with internal teams to build a reporting mechanism that provides visibility on your efforts and strategies to achieve overall revenue contribution
  • Leverage Training, Expert Services, and other organisation programs to assess the current capacity and capability of the Partners as well as to activate / certify the required number of Partner professional personnel
  • Liaise with the Legal team to develop contracts for alliance and channel partner agreements; negotiate and finalise all partner agreements

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - ability to build and leverage relationships with key stakeholders and communicate value proposition in a professional manner to both technical subject matter and business executives while clearly articulating key message;
  • Experience in pipeline building including planning, delivering training, co-selling and timely execution/follow-up;
  • Prospecting and sales skills – assist partners drive new opportunities
  • Solid industry experience in the Digital Commerce and/or Digital Marketing domains;
  • Self-starter, motivated to learn continuously and to pick up new challenges;
  • Leader who knows that to get the best results, you also have to be a great team player;
  • University degree or equivalent work experience;
  • IT background is a plus;
  • Fluency in English (any European language an asset).

Additional Information

  • Willingness and ability to travel, flexible working hours in function of time zones, home office.
