Interprets written or spoken material from/to English/Russian/Kazakh, ensures meaning and context are maintained, creates glossaries or term dictionaries, possesses knowledge of multiple languages, works with individual clients and corporations.

Responsibilities:

• Providing interpreting/translation support to business leaders;
• Providing high quality verbal sequential translation between English and Russian/Kazakh;
• Translate technical documentation including but not limited to memos, business letters, technical passports, datasheets, operation manuals, drawings, presentations, procedures;
• Provide verbal interpretation service to the company management during internal and external business and production meetings, business negotiations, walkdowns, inspections and directly at production site;
• Compile terminology and information to be used in translations;
• Provide administrative support (registration of incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintains correspondence database, arranges internal and external meetings for management team);
• Keep confidentiality in translation services to ensure that the company information is not disclosed to third parties.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Translator (English) from an accredited college or university
• Fluency in English, Russian and Fluency in Kazakh will be a plus
• At least 3 years of experience in translator position (strong translation experience is a must)
• Excellent simultaneous translation skills
• Proficient user of MS Office suite
• Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in industrial/shop environment
• Ability to work in Kazakhstan

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in heavy equipment and/or rail industry is preferred
• Experience of making commercial/finance translations
• Ability to cope with large amount of work
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment
