Qualification & Experience Requirements:
Level II:
Bachelor degree in Engineering or Environmental Scientific;
Knowledge of RoK Environmental regulatory legislation, especially IEC requirements; ? Strong knowledge of laboratory services;
3-5 years’ experience activity in oil and gas or mining industry;
At least 3 years’ experience in Environmental Department within Kashagan Project;
At least 2 years’ experience in Environmental Monitoring team;
Expects to have very good knowledge of the RoK environmental legislation and practices and experience in preparation of documents and reports, laboratory services;
Independent in judgment and working with stakeholders and has completed successfully several Industrial Environmental assignments;
Required Competences:
Good analytical, and documentation processing and control skills
Understanding of RoK Permitting and Regulatory law and procedures
Understanding of technical data and documentation and advise on compliance
Computer literate on Microsoft programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, GIS, LIMS, EQUIS, SAP;
Monitoring and knowledge on recording data and documentation;
Ability to work with minimum supervision on field and good knowledge on WRAP & TRIC;
Ability to identify the specific information needed to clarify a situation or to make a decision;
Knowing when to escalate critical issues to own or others' management, if own efforts to enlist support have not succeeded;
Ability to work under stress with limited deadline on several work task in parallel;
Ability to work in an multicultural, multinational team;
Kazakh, Russian and English languages, writing and speaking.
Advantageous Qualifications/Experience
MSc in an environmental protection or related discipline.
Experience as an environmental regulator (inspector, expert) and/or consultant
Experience in accredited laboratory including as lab specialist or Quality Assurance advisor
Experience in ISO 17025, 14001, 9001 and OHSAS 18001, waste management, laboratories, environmental monitoring and biodiversity is desirable
Experience within Kashagan Project;
