An American R&D startup is seeking for talented researchers. We have a great international team of scientists spread around the globe, with Russian-speaking engineers and administrative staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out R&D and predictive analytics in industrial projects;
  • Develop predictive models for condition-based maintenance and anomalies detection using simulation, machine learning;
  • Collaborate in data management process, engineering task statement, and operations;
  • Build AI-based solutions to engineering problems.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a quantitative discipline (applied math, computer science, physics, engineering, etc.);
  • At least 8 years of industry experience, with a proven track record in data analysis / predictive analytics / technological monitoring;
  • Deep understanding of statistical concepts, multivariate methods, regression, classification, neutral networks, Bayesian logic, time series;
  • Experience in conducting research, applying data analytics and developing commercial solutions to industrial engineering problems;
  • Advanced knowledge of scripting language programming (MATLAB/Python), experience of using simulation and machine learning packages, as well as visualization tools;
  • Experience in oil & gas, chemical industry, heating engineering is a large plus;
  • Experience in industrial equipment (hydraulic systems, rotating equipment, heating systems, etc.) is a large plus;
  • Experience in SCADA is a plus;
  • Experience in fluid dynamics and/or signal processing is a plus;
  • Solid technical and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with members of other groups, including data scientists, engineers, software developers, and clients.
