Director of Business Development
Our product is a B2C financial trading platform. We are looking for a person, who will lead a team of BizDev managers in charge of business development in more than 15 countries around the world, as well as take responsibility for designing and executing business development strategies. This key hire for our company will work closely with our leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
This role assumes a Russian-speaking person, living in Moscow TZ +/- 3 hours. Saint Petersburg's location will be a plus.
Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To lead, grow, and mentor a global team of experienced business development professionals from around the world
- Manage the process of growing existing and new markets - develop business strategies for each country of presence and coordinate its execution
- Take responsibility for the business development strategy and its execution, consisting of marketing and retention areas
- Mentor the process of launching 360 marketing campaigns and ongoing marketing activities for every region
- Be responsible for the final business results of any marketing/business activity happening in the regions. In charge of the final KPIs delivered by cross-functional departments
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a leading role in a strategic, marketing or business development position or any combination of the high-level equivalent of global experience
- Experience in developing business for B2C SaaS products outside CIS
- Project management leadership experience, able to lead multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects across a cross-functional team
- Solid understanding of analytics, and applicable metrics for all tactics and channels
- Deep understanding of marketing (segmentation/targeting/positioning etc.)
- Deep understanding of digital marketing (media buying, partners’ programs, brand awareness, retention, SMM, SEO, SERM, etc)
- Experience in direct management of a team of 10+ people
- Experience managing team members in remote locations, as well as building up teams in new geographies
- Fluent English and Russian are a must
- Entrepreneurship mindset - business result is what drives you
- Experience in launching 360 marketing campaigns on a big scale in different regions is a plus
- Experience in launching a business from the scratch (billings, legal-related questions, etc.) in different regions is a plus
