NotAnotherOne, a leading consumer electronics company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Manufacturing Management to oversee our manufacturing operations in China. This individual will play a crucial role in managing the production of our innovative products, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities:

Manufacturing Strategy and Partner Management:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with company objectives.

• Identify, evaluate, and select manufacturing partners and facilities in China, ensuring compliance with quality and ethical standards.

• Conduct audits and assessments of potential manufacturing partners to ensure capability and capacity meet company requirements.

Supply Chain Management:

• Manage relationships with key suppliers of components and materials, negotiating favorable terms and pricing.
• Optimize Bill of Materials (BOM) costs through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials to support production schedules.

Quality Assurance and Process Optimization:

• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC).

• Develop and enforce product acceptance procedures to maintain high-quality standards.

• Continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and minimize defects.

Technology and Standards Compliance:

• Stay informed about the latest technologies and manufacturing standards in the consumer electronics industry
• Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with product development teams to integrate new technologies into manufacturing processes.

Team Management and Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Directly manage a team of project managers and QA engineers located in China, providing leadership, guidance, and support.

• Serve as an efficient connection between the product, engineering, and design teams and the office in China, facilitating communication and collaboration.

• Coordinate with manufacturing partners and suppliers in China to ensure alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and cost objectives.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in manufacturing management, with a focus on consumer electronics.

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and supply chain management practices.

• Familiarity with ISO standards relevant to consumer electronics manufacturing.

• Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to build and maintain relationships with manufacturing partners and suppliers.

• Proficiency in IQC, OQC, and IPQC procedures, with a focus on quality assurance and process optimization.

• Experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration between different departments and locations.

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

• Effective communication skills and ability to navigate cultural differences in a global environment.

• English B2+ is required.
